    Thought you all might appreciate this. I forgot I had this picture it was taken in Northamptonshire on 27th of June 2014 - Best lightning pic i have taken to date.

    So heres a few shots of the lightning from yesterday... Annoying that its slightly out of frame but oh well.

    Will be taking a trip up Clent Hills shortly to get some time lapses of anything developing. Will be an interesting one.

    One of the lightning strikes, definitely hit the ground near me. It reminds me of the time when i lived in Northamptonshire and was in a insane electrical storm, made the correct decision to sit in the car and just as we closed the doors, lightning struck a post about 3 meters from the car.

    Haha, ill be honest the first one i saw was last night. Been rather unlucky round my parts, they've either seemed to miss me or die then redevelop over wolverhampton.

    My mate finally has his MX5 back today after 3 months of being in the garage due to Covid - So will be chasing later this afternoon so as im done with work. Will keep you updated on how it pans out

    That looks amazing! It looked very similar when it was on its way over here! If you scroll up this page i got a pretty funny clip too, but the thunder in it was deafening

    Yeh its a bit silly that you cant cross the border even for chasing reasons! Not like your going to be around other people! And unfortunately im in the west midlands I can certainly agree with you not wanting to cross here

    So, i clipped a 17sec clip out of what i recorded yesterday of the storm. And i think this may give a few of you a giggle.
