    Heavy wintery showers and gusty winds here this morning.

    Awoke to another 1cm covering of snow this morning and it was snowing earlier on but the sun is melting it now.

    Sleety showers this afternoon, very strong winds. Gradually seems to be turning more to snow.

    Well it is certainly not spring like up here but today I saw my first Swallow!!!!!! Far too early, it was looking alittle bewildered sitting on the phone line outside work, I think it must have been blown up here, I was quite shocked to see one up here so early. I guess it was wondering why it had bothered as the winds are so strong and it was snowing.

    Well I awoke to yet another covering of snow, more than yesterday and it has managed to hang about in the corners of the garden today. We also had some really heavy hail showers this morning.

    Well woke up to a dusting of snow and it was still snowing, didn't really amount to much more than a dusting but it was heavy. A few sleety, haily and snowy showers through the day, this evening we have had a few really heavy snow showers and it is currently snowing with hail mixed in and has left everywhere white, AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Well we ended up with 4" on the ground overnight, but it had nearly all disapeared by lunch time today.

    Heavy snow here now, a good covering will report back later with amount. Ok just come back in and there is a good 1" of nice white fluffy snow everywhere and it is still snowing.

    Awoke to a covering of snow this morning 1-2cm and a few heavy snow showers early this morning. Mostly melted through the day, but this evening we have had a few small flakes and looking very grey.

    Numerous snow showers today, a couple of which were quite heavy and gave a dusting (which melted quite quickly). Nice big fluffy flakes though!

    We have just had a dusting of snow up here.

    Been snowing here all day, winds still strong I guess there must be 2cm+ (judging by the flower tubs!) but hard to tell as it is blowing everywhere.

    Our seems to be usual dusting overnight, but the wind is very strong this morning and the snow is gradually getting heavier, the flakes are certainly getting bigger.

    A slight sprinkerling of snow overnight, about 0.5cm. A few snow showers so far this morning.

    Another couple of centimetres over night, but it has drifted really badly now the road outside is almost at waist level and yes I am trapped! Had a couple of heavy snow showers this morning.

    A few more snow showers today adding another 1-2cms to the snow depth. As I speak it is snowing again!!!!!

    More snow overnight I would guess the average depth would be about 30cms now, it is lovely snow all powdery. Currently lovely and sunny, perfect sledging weather!

    Plenty of snow up here today, about 15cm covering in general with drifts up the road 1m+, had to be ploughed out this morning. At least the wind has decreased today, just a bit gusting in the snow showers. As I type it has just started snowing again.

    A complete whiteout here now, will try to measure the depth but the wind is making it almost impossible.

    Just a quick post as I have got to get to Aberdeen Airport!! We have had a lot of snow showers today, it is hard to estimate amounts and it is drifting so much, but I would say 2-3inchs maybe more. I have seen drifts of a foot of so, will update later.

    Well we have had quite a few showers today of sleet, hail and a couple of snow. Nothing much on the ground at the moment, still quite wet.
