  1. Don't we all.. Fed up to the back teeth of things not quite making it.. Etc etc or the last minufe flip to boring default Atlantic westher. The PV looks solid and the lobe sitting over USA and Canada does not hi g to help as per usual. In fact, if the USA are doing well I find we do CRAP
  2. It's early days on these charts but at the moment that wedge looks primed to head northwards...
  3. You're not the only one seeing things these ways as you put it as we see it, but it's Getting tedious when, once again, mild wins out. Seems that whenever the USA do well out of it, we end up getting the dregs. The Jet stream or its northern arm is extremely active and will likely stay that way all the whilez because of those lows America keep pushing out. The high cannot get a hold the poor thing.... Its boring plain and simple.... bless the USA ??
  4. I think the jet is too powerful and is causing a lot of our problems with heights
  5. Tiny steps. Guys... Me thinks something special will land soon enough and hopefully improvements Continue to be modelled today by ECM in particular...
  6. Yes, that's the KEY. Looking at charts that high to the west if it were to push northwards would cause PV frag... Interesting viewing for sure
  7. Yes it is and as gfs is showing the pattern is hard to break out of... Relentless low pressure from USA which at the same time is enjoying lots of snow and a large chunk of the PV.. NO SURPRISES THERE. Jet stream is up north when we need it way down south... Doesn't bode well without a resurgence of energy from the high which has been the story of this winter so far.... Will it.... Can it....
  8. Yes, I think with the ebb and flow of the pattern, we could get some high retrogression...
  9. Yes I also concur. The iberian heights are a nuisance as they ebbb and flow wish they'd just do one south and sharpish
  10. The jet needs to be well south as well... It seems to be one thing or another and the odds are the 'other' will win out...
  11. Coumd this be the RUN we all want to see unfolding.... Fingers and toes crossed guys!
  12. When's the next ECM run due out please and what do you expect it will show??
  13. I noticed the entire south East devoid of any snow potential yet again I see on the charts...
  14. Cold and snow possible for some... Southerners don't hold your breath
  15. thankfully not too long a mild spell looking at gfs outputs
  16. Yes, it's those iberian heights which are a pain. Wait til summer damn it..
