  1. Thank god it's stopped raining. This is the most miserable and depressing winter ever.
  2. In a nutshell, they haven't got a clue and anything could happen !!
  3. Just seen our BBC South East Weather and I've got excited for the first time this winter. That will do me as I love the anticipation and the truly not knowing what will happen feeling. Very happy, even if it does turn out to be a damp squib
  4. A bit late to the party I know but I'm really surprised to hear about Steve Murr. He always came across as a really lovely guy and I'll miss his posts, jeeze he's been on here for years ! Something doesn't add up. If anyone sees him on any other forums, can you let me know ?!!
  5. Can't deny its good to be back on this thread and virtual storm chasing again....
  6. Very interesting BBC South East forecast this evening...Storm Ellen may be the first of several storms over the next few weeks as we've got an unusually active hurricane season coming that could have a knock on effect here. Said it could be a lively old Autumn. Wasn't expecting that !
  7. Are we going to see anything here on the south coast ? I have never felt so frustrated !!!!
  8. I'm surprised as well. I'm no expert with radars but I think for us here in Hastings we're going to have a relatively peaceful night !
  9. I feel the same and I don't know why, but I've had a bad feeling about it from the outset....
  10. Not kidding, I just had a gust of wind stronger than anything I heard yesterday
  11. OMG I experienced that.. I was literally on my way to Galley Hill and coming down Sea Road. The roof and back window on my car was shaking like I have never seen it do and the howling of the wind was incredible. It was at that point I decided to come home !!
