    Morning all. Have to say it's not as windy as I thought it would be but just had a seriously strong gust out of nowhere thats blown one of our wheelie bins into the road.

    This was just posted on the Scorland thread from a guy on the Scottish Borders Hellish up here Shuggee, I've closed the curtains and the blinds for the first time ever - I hate to feel claustrophobic and always leave curtains open but tonight it's unbearable.

    Will it be as strong as Storm Angus in 2016 ? That one did scare me a bit, it turned a gazebo I had totally upside down and ripped it to shreds. I didn't have a light outside the back at the time and I didn't realise that it was one of the legs that was constantly bashing against the glass of my back door. I won't deny it was at this point I went to bed and crawled under the duvet not knowing if the window would last ! I can laugh now but I was terrified at the time !

    Thanks LightningLover and couldn't agree more. Thing is, the storms I get excited about don't manifest, and those I don't think about, and usually un-named storms, turn out to be the best !
