Slowly starting to give up on snow for my area
Where’s “my area”. I’ve never visited. Any hints?

Looking forward to some more left over dandruff then being too far south for a streamer.

Absolutely pathetic so far today. Unfortunately it melted quickly after settling so just ended up recycling the snow cover. Ended up having a scattering of white specks with more green than white visible. Not surprised given my sheltered elevation although expected a smidge more considering I’m in the amber zone. Ironically no snowfall now the conditions are more primed for it to settle and will have to rely on my weak luck for a streamer.
I am be pleased for others though that have struggled to get in with the fun for along time and are now covered in the stuff.
preety please weather gods. Push some of that snow from Sevenoaks

Looking forward to darting around Knole park with a sledge in one hand and a go pro in the other. As usual, snow shield may be in force here but not far at all to gain some elevation in the north downs. As a runner it could be interesting to say the least these next few days. Although, having said that I have only gone running once in the snow.. January just gone and on trails.

Rapidly melting away now after some heavy bursts. Oh well I’m just happy to see the stuff falling. It has been 84 years!!

MO app just updated my location (just north of Peterborough) for light snow tomorrow. I wonder if this reflects a northward correction?
Meanwhile here in west Kent the MO app has removed the sleet and rain throughout the afternoon and now has light snow, morning into the afternoon with a lower chance of precipitation. Not a clue how this is going to play out although my elevation often lets me down. I will just have to have a nose up the north downs. Or in may snow “events”, just walk a mile down the road.

And summer is still summer, with the birds chirping outside my window at 4AM!
Early bird gets the worm and all that
depends on what kind of person you are when it comes to daylight hours, at the moment if there is no proper cold to take advantage of the shortest days of the year, what’s the point?

Deal is going to get washed into the sea isn’t it? Stuck in a line of constant white shading on the radar. Not great tbh.
Literally, this just sent by my mum at my Grandparents house, absolutely atrocious:

Unexpected crackling thunder probably from the shower that just passed me

Ok now it’s just teasing me.

Can hear constant thunder now although it’s very faint. People are getting a real treat right now.

Massive drops now

Just had a long rumble there, it’s looking very explosive overhead!

On holiday in Falmouth, Cornwall at the moment and it’s a drizzle fest, thick cloud and 19C. What a world of difference from the soaring heat in the south east. That’s the Atlantic for you but I’d much rather be here than at home!

That’s more like it!!! Heaviest of the spell so far and vibrant colours on the radar on the way. Building on the grass and sticking to the trees this time and it’s getting near the snow depth before most of it melted.
nice surprise 8.5/10
