    Our Ilford ‘snowstorm’ been going for a while now. Strangely the radar initially showed the snow incoming but since it did arrive the radar has shown nothing at all.....

    Unbelievable change - heavy persistent snow and settled everywhere quickly

    Moderate steady snow here now - starting to settle on the grass but the pavements/roads is still soooooo saturated that cannot see it settling there..... 2 mins later and the cars are getting very covered and roofs too - hints the garden path may be about to change colour soon tooooo

    Big fluffy flakes here too - lovely to see, however short lived it may turn out to be.

    Slightly heavier and flakes slightly bigger - looking at my BBC app its supposed to be white cloud now !

    Seems more persistent now - no chance of settling I would think though (earlier mini settled roofs melted a while ago)
