Been a grand day on the Yorkshire Wolds, similar to yesterday, sunny morning followed by cloud in the afternoon, 17°c and dry, no complaints.

StingJet it means don't discard your winter clothes 'cast a clout' until the Hawthorn hedge flowers, ('May'flower) Nothing to do with the month of May. Clout is old English for Cloth.

9°c this evening on the Yorkshire wolds, but after a grey morning we had a pleasant afternoon when then sun came out, knocking on 17°c for a while, managed an hour in pub beer garden at least it didn't f00kin rain.

Despite the vile weather we still had 65 tractors turn out yesterday morning for the charity road run, there was heck of alot of standing water on the country lane but we had a good day and raised some for money for Yorkshire air ambulance, A bit wet in the field at the start, Case international for me as usual, Wet outlook from the cab.

jonboy many pages back i posted a 'what if' post, (I'm not a denier) just inquisitive, wow what a pile on i got, take about entrench views , i gave up with this thread after that.

TwisterGirl81 19c is your min temp on your thermostat, so if your temp drops below that your heating will kick in regardless of your timer settings. Its a cold setting override.
