  1. I have a massive sense of de ja vue, Didn't you post something similar about 6/8hrs ago and the knowledgeable posters on here debunked this theory
  2. To many, 'i told you so' posts tonight, its tedious , the cold hasn't even got here yet and this upcoming week maybe yet a precursor to the bigger picture as winter evolves
  3. Just thought i would drop these fantastic charts into the mix that @Cambrian posted earlier to add abit of perspective to the sombre mood tonight, its gonna be a tad chilly next week and i think with this level of cold we may get a few surprises, onwards and upwards
  4. Use the 'ignore' function in your settings, you can select which posters you want to ignore by their username
  5. Wow guys, just read 12 pages after work, sad i know! Fascinating the dedication from some posters, hope Scotts ok.....
  6. This ^^, well said @reef, it beggars belief why some posters are even on a 'Weather Forum'
  7. Colds on its way... where will it snow? Whom knows for sure? But it will.... soon, so chill peeps , turns tablet off, until tomorrow
  8. Its one run for flips sake, why do some revel in despondency? I bet some of you are in the kitchen at partys!
  9. I doth my cap to some of you guys whom spend 18hrs a day on here, its an admirable dedication to a hobby that so often (in winter) leads to disappointment, after following many a chase these background signals and current synoptics may for once lead to a winter nivarna that many crave.
  10. Don't set the southeners off EE, the country will grind to a stand still,
  11. After reading umpteen pages i think my head has finally popped
  12. My current take fwiw being wet behind the ears is after reading an unhealthy amount of pages recently (The 'ignore' funtion is your friend) from experienced and knowledgeable posters (Thank you), that we are potentially on the cusp of something quite interesting/ exciting as a weather enthusiast, so i am quite happy to hang around with the glass half full 'gang' than hide around the corner with the 'negativity' crew.....
  13. By that analogy you basically want the weather forcast guaranteed before you will believe? Why not rely on nowcasting or window watching, ie i won't believe it until i see it?
  14. Oh dear... keep banging that drum, have you not read the past 30/40 pages?
  15. Incessant rain providing a miserable first day back at work, local lanes and fields flooded in places i haven't seen for many years on my commute, thankfully a dry period in sight with wintry prospects on the horizon.
