Bro in law just messaged out of the blue, gonna pick me n bro up, then meeting a few mates up at farm, tonight seems to have sparked some real interest from peeps whom wouldn't normally bother

Sat in the garden on the Yorkshire Wolds looking at the clear sky, 1 mile yomp up the hill to our vantage point, luckily my mates farm is up there so just waiting for him to message

Metwatch has it got 'ash die back'? Its wide spread across the country. Generally an ash tree with the fungal disease cannot be saved.

StingJet it means don't discard your winter clothes 'cast a clout' until the Hawthorn hedge flowers, ('May'flower) Nothing to do with the month of May. Clout is old English for Cloth.
