I think there will be some snow grains at least falling on the east coast here at some point but it would be lovely to see a proper fall.
I do believe some areas inland could get 2 to 4 inches and maybe 6 from this set up.
Yeah if we don't get a least a healthy covering from this upcoming event, i am joining a stamp collecting forum

Would be good to actually see some falling snow here and even a slight covering would be a change from the rain and showers of most weeks this winter !
Absolutely, my nieces and nephew have not seen proper snow before, would be a great distraction from the current situation to see people enjoying the snow, socially distanced of course

I'm in Bridlington and never ending rain here this winter so far.
Just a little hail and ice pellets and perhaps a little sleet in recent weeks.
Same here tbh, although i can see the wolds towards sledmere from here have been white over a couple of times, but nothing major, been a bust, hopefully about to change

Will the Yorkshire Wolds finally see some decent snow this winter, all we've had is rain, so much so that springs are starting to pop already!
-
Hopefully we might get some proper snow on the costal side of the Wolds this weekend, its been a bust so far this winter,

Currently -1 here on the Wolds, clear sky's and no breeze,

East yorkshire the place to be tonight, looking south/east from on top of the wolds has been quite a view, not bad for late September!

Worst, I hate them but to get over a fear I have spent all week watching weather maps and tracking them. And I can honestly say they aint that bad, I survived last night and tonight so I'm doing well
As a child i was petrified of storms, but the fascination took over as i got older, the buzz from storms has changed from fear to excitement as the years have gone on! I am 36 + 6 now , and now love watching storms, hence you end up on Netweather

Rubbish end to what started as a nice day, 22c at 11am. Sea fret rolled in at 4pm, temp dropped to 15c, with strong cool breeze, gotta love the N/E coast
