  1. Missed all the rain today, been a lovely day, T-shirt weather when then sun was out, occasionally cloudy but a very useful day, local beer garden was just about tolerable at teatime for a swift few
  2. Pleasant day up norf today, missed the showers, T-shirt weather when then sun was out, managed a couple of teatime beers in local pub beer garden before mist/cloud kicked in about 6.30, #grab it while you can,
  3. 16.5 degrees here and bright sunshine, might get a degree or two warmer this aft, gotta grab it whilst you can
  4. 16.5 degrees here at the moment, bright sunshine, a few clouds but nothing detrimental, i would say a couple of degrees warmer out of the breeze, gotta grab it while you can
  5. Fantastic pics and videos of the storms tonight, made for fantastic viewing and thanks to all that have shared, if these storms had of been in the southeast of England Netweather would have crashed
  6. Thanks for the reply, we have an old trig point at the top of hill where i walk up to with the hound, good view of the Yorkshire wolds and could see lightning in the distance, i was trying from an amateur point of view to correlate it with the NW radar,
  7. Geniune question, how far away can you see lightning on a night? Just walked the hound up the hill out of the village and can see faint lightning to my S/west, howden/goole direction i guess?
  8. Looks like the south/west of the region having the fun tonite, all quiet on the East coast, had a good soaking at teatime for an hour and that was it, interesting seeing some of pics and vids people are posting this evening on here and the Storm thread
  9. Heavy rain now with a few rumbles, looking on the radar and that red blob heading straight for us!
  10. The radar looks lively for this afternoon and now it's gone very dark, we now have hailstones bigger than frozen peas, it's May for flips sake, time to light the wood burner,
  11. Been a glorious day here today on the east coast of the wolds, best day of the week so far, tbf the last 2 weeks have been mostly blue sky's and bright sunshine although the temperature has varied, it has been quite pleasant out of the N/Ne breeze,
  12. Glorious day here today, t-shirt from 10am onwards, got footings in for new garden wall, nice enough to knock the froth of a couple of cold one's before tea in the local pub beer garden, no complaints....
  13. Its been a another fantastic day here today, clear blue sky's and been in my T-shirt all day, from last sunday when i woke up to a covering of snow, we've had clear blue sky's and sun everyday since, as the weeks gone on its got gradually warmer and although the nights are chilly (slight frost) it's been a lovely sunny week, could do with it being a tad warmer if i were to be picky, but perfectly usable outside type of weather,
  14. White over here this morning, and snowing again now, think the gardening will have to wait....again
  15. If your still in Driffield, it looks there is more following that shower, i've got one eye on the football and one on the window
  16. Under a heavy shower atm, heaviest one of the day, leaving a slight covering, more to come aswell,
  17. Just walked the dog round the village, a few flakes blowing about in the wind and a thin covering on cars, nothing spectacular, chilly but winter coat not required, see what the morning brings,
  18. Quite a pleasant day out today imby, obviously cold in the strong wind, but when sheltered you could feel the warmth of the sun, manged to get garden path layed, so constructive day,
