  1. Light snow here now getting blown about in the wind, hopefully will intensify, radar looking encouraging
  2. Currently 2.5°c here and heavy rain, also a strong breeze making it feel colder, no sign of snow yet
  3. Just been out with the dog, its quite breezy and a noticable chill in the wind already, sign of things to come.

  5. Absolutely, my nieces and nephew have not seen proper snow before, would be a great distraction from the current situation to see people enjoying the snow, socially distanced of course
  6. Same here tbh, although i can see the wolds towards sledmere from here have been white over a couple of times, but nothing major, been a bust, hopefully about to change

Just a quick question for some of the battle weathered posters on here, what does things look like for the Yorkshire Wolds going forward, i am at the lower end between between Driffield and Scarborough, Sorry if this is abit Imby, i hope everyone on here gets to see plenty of snowy fun Cheers WT
  8. Will the Yorkshire Wolds finally see some decent snow this winter, all we've had is rain, so much so that springs are starting to pop already!
  9. Hopefully we might get some proper snow on the costal side of the Wolds this weekend, its been a bust so far this winter,
  10. Still raining here on the Wolds, East /North Yorkshire border, looking up at the hills towards Driffield/Sledmere they have a slight covering.
  11. East yorkshire the place to be tonight, looking south/east from on top of the wolds has been quite a view, not bad for late September!
  12. Been watching it pass me by on the Wolds this eve, looked impressive over Bridlington!
  13. Yorkshire wolds (nr Driffield) just lit up, really loud thunder, wasn't expecting that this aft!

  15. Like my missus, thats why i hide downstairs and post on Netweather! Low level mist on the yorkshire wolds, but still really mild!?
  16. As a child i was petrified of storms, but the fascination took over as i got older, the buzz from storms has changed from fear to excitement as the years have gone on! I am 36 + 6 now , and now love watching storms, hence you end up on Netweather
