  1. If this is it for snow, then bring on spring and some lighter nights, hopefully with some drier weather!
  2. Over night showers have done the trick, first proper covering of the year, got about 5-6 cm, a few small drifts on exposed country roads
  3. Not so much as a snowflake now for over 2 hours, clouds overhead but no precipitation, roads are starting to get icey tho ?
  4. Small showers during the morning have just about covered the grass n paths, slight thaw in process, roads are just wet but better than nowt, hopefully more to come
  5. Light snow here now getting blown about in the wind, hopefully will intensify, radar looking encouraging
  6. Currently 2.5°c here and heavy rain, also a strong breeze making it feel colder, no sign of snow yet
  7. Just been out with the dog, its quite breezy and a noticable chill in the wind already, sign of things to come.
  8. Yeah if we don't get a least a healthy covering from this upcoming event, i am joining a stamp collecting forum
  9. Absolutely, my nieces and nephew have not seen proper snow before, would be a great distraction from the current situation to see people enjoying the snow, socially distanced of course
  10. Same here tbh, although i can see the wolds towards sledmere from here have been white over a couple of times, but nothing major, been a bust, hopefully about to change
  11. Just a quick question for some of the battle weathered posters on here, what does things look like for the Yorkshire Wolds going forward, i am at the lower end between between Driffield and Scarborough, Sorry if this is abit Imby, i hope everyone on here gets to see plenty of snowy fun Cheers WT
