Once again beautiful weather and I am not complaining in that respect in terms of lovely sunshine but a max 16c and the nagging wind. I had to stick the central heating on this evening watching the snooker! My ideal is warm and humid and this is everything but. But there you go. See what May brings.
Beautiful day here and it got to 18c. BUT a bit of a gusty breeze and sun goes behind thin high cloud and it doesn't feel that warm. My definition of warmth is about 26c so some way to go for me yet!
Started at minus 2c here in Dudley. Now shot up to the dizzy heights of plus 12c. Light wind. Sunny. Just need a genuine warm up now but it looks like the chill is coming back by Wednesday.
Ok. No worries. Sometimes you get knobheads on these sites. Actually had few good beer sessions round Stafford following the Wolves on way to Stoke away. No probs mate.
Not sure if you are having a dig, but for your I formation I have a Bsc Hons degree in Social Policy and Politics, two A levels and 8 O levels. I have also worked all my life. I am Male. Hope this helps.
Warmer by a degree in Dudley today compared to yesterday (22c up from 21c) and plenty of sunshine and hardly any wind either. Looking out the window now enjoying a cider still lovely and sunny. Not looking forward to Easter Monday by the looks of it !
Cricket season due to commence a week on Thursday. No surprise it does so in arctic winds and temperatures. And us usual, the brief 2 day warm spell next week manages to avoid the weekend.
Just want the cold and wind to go. I will accept it in deep mid winter. But mid March? About time we had a sea change. This morning was shocking. 3/4 c and nasty winds gusting. Early/mid teens will do thank you. ....oh and RIP Murray Walker. Was never a massive F1 fan but Murray was famed for his enthusiasm.
I always look forward to those 120 days from November to February with dread. Dark. Cold. Dreary. For me a celebration as March 1st signals Spring. Lighter nights. Warmer weather. Longer days. Cricket season a few weeks away. I shall rejoice with a few beers tomorrow!
It's tree pollen now. I start to notice it in February. Main suffering for me is June grass pollen season. I can usually enjoy summer from mid /late July when it's gone. And my sense of smell comes back!
Well as you can see by my posts earlier I hate intense cold with a passion. For me heat and humidity is brilliant. Love it. Just a shame in UK we never get any ( probably about 12 days last summer in Dudley) . Each to their own ! Stay safe.
Brilliant. It's not really a proper summers day unless it reaches 28c in my book. Hot humid. Still about 24c at 10pm. That is a real summer and if 40c is on the way even better. I'll go and stock up on shorts in anticipation !
