Hi all. Mainly a lurker here, but really enjoy the good natured banter, humour and expertise of the Yorkshire-East of England group, especially when you’re all in full-throttle during extreme weather events. Makes me realise why I love living here.
Up here in the Crookes-Crosspool area of Sheffield, we had an easy 14-15 inches of level snow…some drifts of 2 feet. Had some memorable snowfalls since moving over here 14 years ago, but this nearly tops them all. My Irish family and friends ‘back home’ are jealous that the Sheffield hills so often hit the legendary meteorological sweet spot.
This time it was short and sweet as the March sun has done its thing very quickly, but ‘twas good while it lasted, and all your comments and humour added to the memorable experience. Happy Weekend all!
