  1. I was speaking to my daughter, who lives in the north of Spain, earlier today about the new Covid19 restrictions that the region has been put under and she was telling me how she and her friends were feeling a bit under a cloud at the moment. Then, this evening, she sent me the photo below, saying "this is the cloud we're under, the end of the world is nigh". She wants to know what it is and for some reason thinks I would know. Any ideas?

  2. Not much of a day for being out and about, even if we were allowed to.

Temperature currently 10.7deg.C down from a max of 13.3deg.C at 12:17, only very light winds mainly from west-north-west, humidity now 85%, pressure 1032.5hPa steady, very light drizzle earlier but not enough to register, and the cloud has filled in a bit to 6/8 cover.

  4. Dreich. That's all. Just dreich.

Temperature now is 6.8deg.C up from a minimum of 1.5deg.C at 03:00, r.h. is 97%, wind between 1 and 6mph from the north, pressure is 1016.4hPa rising, and there's complete cloud cover that has dropped 0.2mm of rain on me since midnight and 2.6mm in the last 24 hours.

I originally posted this in the SE England thread for some reason. Age doesn't come alone...

    Greetings folks.

My first post here. I've been a subscriber to the Netweather Radar for a while now, and popped into the forum occasionally but thought it was time I finally joined. So hi.

Not very sunny in sunny East Lothian this morning. Dreich and damp in fact, with some heavy bands of rain earlier. Looks like we might get a wee break later though.

Welcome, from yet another new member here.

Steady improvement in the weather today, much as forecast, temperature got up to 11.7deg.C at 12:45 but now back down to 9.7deg.C, r.h. is 82%, wind still very light but swung round the the northeast, pressure is 1014.5hPa steady, there's now been 5.2mm of rain today and the cloud has rolled back to 1/8 cover so it's nice and sunny.

A mixed day so far, beautiful blue skies this morning and calm, now replaced by grey clouds with the odd spot of rain and the wind has picked up too.

Pubs to close again apparently. Quick everybody panic buy booze...

You've got the opposite of what I've got; now brightening up nicely and good enough for a panic buying shopping trip. Will four bottle carriers be enough?

  11. Dull, blustery and damp this morning but mild.

Temperature dropped from a maximum of 10.4deg.C at midnight to a minimum of 9.2deg.C at 05:52, which shows a distinct lack of effort, and is now 9.7deg.C, r.h. is 93%, there's a gusty breeze from the east that maxed out at 12mph earlier, pressure is 1007.5hPa rising and there's been 0.6mm of rain since midnight.
