Yes falling quite heavily in leicester but no settling, tbh I wasn’t expecting anything until evening so this is a nice bonus, i imagine dew points and solar strength will obviously go down in the hours to come, should be better for all of us later I hope.

You'd get some snow off that in Boston.
Sure you’re not referring to Boston in the states

I think at this point we all know that the runs generally improve as the day goes on, those of us who have been watching for a while know that the 0z are usually very sobering but things get better throughout the day.
Of course everything could come crashing down, absolutely, but that doesn’t mean it will.
The way I see it is we should wait for the days runs to be over and then see where we are, for the last few days it’s been bad to good to better to bad to amazing back to ok. You see with this kind of model inconsistency it’s impossible to know where things are going.
So try not to get hung up on each individual run and at the same time enjoy the nirvana charts but don’t take them for granted either and let’s see where this merry chase takes us!

Great to see but I would be so frustrated if we had that NH profile and still ended up in sw winds, but nonetheless great to see blocked charts popping up!

Those saying no chance of snow.. too mild.. never happens etc.. well there we are a fairly widespread low level snow event much of central England. Not a bad start to the winter season and its November.
Yes I’m only 40m up

That shortwave is really irritating. How is the high right smack in the middle of Greenland yet we still get a west based -nao
I would guess the heights to the SE are preventing the trough of the PV to penetrate Europe
