  1. As it stands I am sure there will be snow for loads of us in varying amounts. People falling out about it takes alot away from the reason I joined this group when we should all be excited about the charts and what we are about to experience. I'm in the North and I have seen about 1cm all winter so this we deserve some more than others is nonsense. I'm excited about it where ever it may fall. I'm in sherwood forest about 60miles inland just below sheffield and I think I will see a decent dumping. I am still hoping others will too so let's play nice and keep it informative, especially for us newbies. Stay safe and let's get the cold in... the rest will follow.
  2. Pretty sure mate with shift south and the super cold uppers now covering most of the Midlands northwards there won't be a gap.
  3. I'm saying it....... I can't believe it.....but here it comes....... BOOM WE ARE IN THE GAME (Stay on target..............)
  4. This is looking like a memorable spell of wintry goodness for us all and anything over 10cm I'm taking as a win win. Been a very long time coming seeing charts like these. Stay on target.........
  5. Even where I am in the ant snow vortex of North Notts/South Yorks/Lincs border this is starting to look like we may get a pasting.... 25 more hours them I'm going to say the B word
  6. Being right on the south Yorkshire/Notts border I'm hoping for a slight shift south, which tbh could happen as normally does, as being in the east Midlands I feel this could make the difference of a covering and a dumping. That it purely an IMBYism though. 60m inland I think we could see a truly massive event unfolding and it's getting hard to contain the excitement now.....
  7. This is my first post but I have been visiting this page for a couple of years now. This post has really helped me and my knowledge of the upcoming cold spell greatly. The current charts are absolutely fascinating but I do get lost sometimes in the uppers, 850mb's etc. Cracking post and I for one am looking forwards to the evolutions of the charts moving forwards.
