    What are your thoughts in terms southern coastal counties in terms of lows bumping into cold air will it all fall as rain and I agree GFS is actually ending it before it gets going with progressive lows

    Fair but you can’t take every model run as gospel it just doesn’t work like that we could have been showing GFS winning out right up until the weekend then it could have changed winter forecast is very difficult

    What’s wrong with some of you… your saying this exact thing but then being told about toughs etc forming and your still posting silly things sometimes when in a situation like this it’s best to just get the cold in first and deal with that later with all that said just getting this sort of cold is an amazing start to winter what we haven’t seen in so many years

    To be fair guys icon and ecm is what we really want colder for longer and more chance of widespread snow fall being observed

    I would certainly think places like Southampton and Portsmouth, Bournemouth etc are sleet tonight

    I think the met office putting that warning out was because the only shifting they see is south which is why they posted an early warning

    It is disappointing but maybe due to the SSWs the models just aren’t understanding the pattern happening so maybe just keep model watching and hope that it starts to show what we like aye chin up people

    rubbish its a BFTE we just had a really rubbish northerly currently set up it more then good for anything
