Yeah, slightly better here in Manchester, but not by much, rain no issue hitting us - snow big issue . Ah well.. GFS now looks more promising from 06Z- ICON /ECM don't want to take any interest at moment - not going to get hopes up too much, but still staying positive.

Saturday still showing up some promise on the 03Z UKV.. I just want a couple cm.. is that too much to ask ?

ICON EU /Saturday - Now that'll do... This and UKV still going for snow, so some hope there - as by rights should be better due to their resolution.. hopefully ECM & GFS will have the same idea tomorrow. I'm staying hopeful for now.

This is it at 15:00 , so should get at least 3 + hours out of it with what it shows currently. can't see the hourly time stamp yet as too far ahead.

When people say it "smells like snow" its to do with the cold causing a change in molecules in the air which makes odors less pungent and creates a fresh clean smell... also most of the airs moisture is within the snow so the air is also dryer , all this combined creates a sensual experience

Our best shot for a decent event is Saturday.. but even then , if we do get a covering , it will be washed away shortly after. but ill take that over nothing.

predicted radar for later... not saying they will make it accross with that intensity - but the projectory is showing thats the course they're taking
