    Halden Hill can be lethal in that sort of weather! Really hoping it does stick, it is very rare for us to get a good amount of snow.

    I'm hoping that up on Dartmoor we will get some snow at least, which a lot of the charts seem to show. Probably not a lot, but a few cm would be nice!!

    Looking at the snow maps for the country, obviously 90% of it is to the East, but there is a very small grey blob where I am (Dartmoor), what are the chances of a good dumping of snow instead of the sleeting crap we usually get most of the time?

    I live on Dartmoor, what are my rough chances of a good covering of snow? It seems like further North, many places could get days of snow coverage, it'd be nice to get some on the Moor as well! We did well on the last snowfall a couple of weeks ago, but nothing major.

    As a complete newbie to this forum, I've been following the model thread avidly and am unsure how the current wintery weather will affect me up on Dartmoor in the SW. Any ideas? We always seem to get snow when others do, but the charts seem to show no snow in a lot of areas around me. It'd be good to get an idea if I need to stock up on bits! Thanks
