Yeah, although i am a sunny weather guy, i don't even mind snow, hell i'd even be fine if it snowed all December & January if it meant mainly warm and sunny from the end of March onwards, so to see cold single digit weather returning for April after that lovely period of weather we had is a real comedown!

April 17th to April 23rd has been excellent, dry and sunny for 4 years straight now so could be a good bet.

Another full day of beautiful unbroken sunshine yesterday and again for the 4th day straight, the weather station only a few train stops away says we had 3 and a half hours of clouds! Is the Shoeburyness weather stations sunshine recorder broken? Lol.

Do weather stations ever record data incorrectly? The closest station to me to look at sunshine data (out of curiosity at this great run of days) is Shoeburyness and it's data shows we have been missing out on about 2 and a half hours of sun every day for 4 days straight even though its been completely unbroken sunshine! Doesn't make sense to me.

Sky completely filled with what i think is Cumulus Mediocris. Do any weather experts know if this type of cloud ever reduces or disappears eventually or am i now stuck with this garbage the whole day?

Weather forecast for Heathrow is showing a few 22 degrees days along with a 23 next week and full sun for the most part too! Is this going to be a March 2012 style end? Phenomenal forecast if it comes off!

Hoping i am not jinxing it but the weather forecast for the next week or so looks absolutely stunning! Getting shades of March 2012 if this carries on! 23 degrees is now showing up as a possibility for Heathrow. The more sunshine, the merrier!

Probably a very dumb question but i have been looking at the EnSat24 satellite to see if any clouds are on the way and i noticed some just forming out of nowhere in the middle of a clear patch. Just wondering what causes this to happen? It's a little annoying when you have clear blue skies with no cloud bands coming towards your area, only for some to start forming out of nothing lol.

Not looking good for me according to the model thread. I have my first few days off in the year from 25th to 28th March and it seems the general consensus is that we're more likely going to have a "beast from the east" rather than any warm sunny days during that period. Absolutely terrible luck for me if that happens!

Massively unpopular personal opinion, but i have really enjoyed this winter so far- plenty of useable days with clear blue skies and sunshine. For me, seeing those clear blue skies brings me happiness and peace and therefore this will be a memorable winter for me. Of course i understand most of you guys wanted snow and storms etc and i get that but hey, we are all different! Hoping for a very sunny Spring and Summer.

Yeah, this has ramped up horrifyingly here. I'm staring at my garden tiki bar in terror before work at 12pm as gusts akin to a 500lb bodybuilder keeps slamming into it. This is the most insane winds i have ever seen in my lifetime and i fully expect my tiki bar to be gone when i get home I have my fingers crossed it holds up- its too big and heavy to bring inside.

Amazingly, in the South East where i am, using my closest weather station (Shoeburyness) we had more sunshine in January (103 hours) than London Heathrow had in August (96 hours)!

Bizarre stat here for the South East where I am (Basildon /Southend area) - the last 6 years, including this one, January 17th has been at least decently sunny every single time!

Loved the last 3 days. Clear blue skies, sunshine all day, beautiful sunsets, warm feeling in the sun. As good as it gets for January for my preferences!

Perfect November day again today, crisp sunshine almost the whole day with clear blue skies in South East.

Forecast of thick cloud and 15 degrees here and yet it has been mostly sunny and feels even higher than 15 degrees! Love when the forecasters get it wrong and it turns out better. Wonder how long the sun can hold out today?

Had 2 lovely mostly sunny days in a row for November so far where I am. Felt very nice in the sunshine even in my shorts!

2 lovely November mornings in a row! Cool, crisp and clear blue skies. I may be a Spring & Summer lover but days like this in Autumn are great. Makes a nice change from the usual grey and rainy muck.

Today was possibly the nicest day in the South East for October this year. Mainly sunny from sunrise to sunset and looking at the satellite radar, where I live, we just missed out on the massive sheet of grey thankfully!

Cor, what a waste of a 20 degree October day! Nothing but dull grey rubbish all day.

It's been one of the days where the met office predicted a day of full sun for us which turned out to be a whole afternoon of grey skies. Very disappointing. Looking at the satellite radar, the big wave of grey cloud moved east early on but then decided to stay around for the whole day and ruin the sunshine. Looks like it was nice in London though?

Is there anything worse than the whole forecast for the following day changing overnight? Went to bed happy last night with the forecast for where i am saying sunny spells all day and i wake up this morning to it now saying overcast all day. I was hoping to get one last day out enjoying the sun on my day off work but unfortunately now, all i have to look at is a blanket of ugly, depressing, gloomy, boring grey rubbish. Absolutely gutted. To get it so wrong in the space of 8 hours is utterly shocking. Contemplating never looking at a weather forecast ever again.

Really surprising and dull start here. Met office said blue skies all day but its been endless grey since i woke up and no hint of blue on the horizon. Was hoping to enjoy the probable last bit of prolonged sunshine until Spring 2022 before i start work but unfortunately for me, the forecast was wrong. No doubt the sun might come out while i'm at work though, sods law.
