    I'm not hearing much activity from the Storm in the Horsham area anymore. I'm presuming its move further north now.

    I can confirm this as hearing thunder from Horsham. Just went boom!

    Just heard thunder to my North. Looks like there is a storm but nothing over my location. Looks to be just south east of Dorking

    Not a massive storm here in Horsham flashes and whipcrack thunder about every 5 minutes or so

    I doubt it all associated with that cold front that's moving through... It's just raining here now. Quite nice to sleep to though!

    Can confirm south of Horsham it really picked up almost constant flashes and booms here ... It's slowed down now

    Shortly after I stopped filming this there was a strike ~600m away And ANOTHER WHILE TYPING THIS That was a very nice CG. It got really super intense for the past few minutes several strikes close ish and the rain really picked up.... I'm happy with Tonight Also our bins have been blown over PXL_20220518_221737113.mp4

    Gatwick airport is still sending out flights so my guess is they're trying to get as many as they can out ASAP before the storm hits

    Seems to be tailing off now it was stronger on the approach to my town... Could be interesting depending on where the Uckfield cell moves

    I had a rather rude awakening 30 minutes ago as the storm slowly moves towards my town... Rain has definitely picked up and not actually seen any lightning hey because it's all behind me

    I'm just wondering if I'll need to unplug the TV and PC tonight . Had a online mate lose his PC's ethernet capabilities when the house next over to his got hit by a strike. Traveled through the cable internet and damaged his modem as well. And sods law dictates as I need to sleep well tonight that everything will explode and I'll miss it all while catching ZZZ's

    I remember being on a summer scout camp back in either 2007 or 2008 on the IoW and we had a pretty intense night of storms one night we were fairly high up near ish to the gun club if I remember the camp correctly. Unsurprisingly it was a rather wet night

    Looks like the met office has updated their alerts for areas that are likely to experience / are in the path of active cells

    if it does it doesn't need to move far for it to move my direction

    I got a nice big cloud formation to my north started over guildford way and moving east... difficult to exactly locate it because there are too many buildings in the way

    I think theres a cell Guildford way as well. Definitely getting that anvil type structure. Timelapse has captured it and will upload soon it's still developing however...
