@fulham snow might know?x
Ok. Did you get much in Epsom? I lived there for 40 years and am always curious. Had precious little since moving to Charlwood 6 years ago.

Are any of the Reigate posters able to update on conditions back home please? Thanks.

I'm in Epsom - what's the best direction to drive in to find a nice slope for sledging?! North, South, East or West of me??!!x
Surely the Downs?

Not quite enough to hide the grass and paths but it's white outside here in Charlwood. I just went up to the Midlands forum and I should not have tortured myself. I bet they never get this when I move up there. Still, it's been better snow wise than the last 5 years here. Maybe we might have a last chance saloon at the end of the month.

Hello. Just popped up from the South East regional thread. We got a little splattering here near Gatwick. We have had precious little all winter.
I am moving to the East Midlands in 6 weeks. Gutted to have missed out on your event.
Anyhow will join you all in a few weeks. But I warn you I seem to have a negative effect on snow!

Just fine snow with a fine dusting here at Gatwick.

Currently nothing falling here at Gatwick, but we have had fine snow all day.

Well, nothing much laid here. It is very cold though. I suspect it may hit north of here but still interesting watching the showers develop

Coming down quite heavy in Charlwood though the air has got colder and the flakes have got smaller.

Just over a month til the move to The Midlands and low and behold an Amber warning for snow. I shall be on snow watch again. Personally not sure we will get much if any but we shall see.
Sun out. Blue sky and clouds. Chicken' enjoying the garden. A tad chilly though.

Yes, here in Horley too. Not sure what that is! Don’t want it to melt any of the snow on the ground though, so it needs to snow or do one!
Just popped out to the car. It sounds a bit like the freezing rain we had earlier as it's definitely making a noise as it falls. Temps are up too. Stood outside for 5 minutes in jeans and t-shirt. Not frozen!

I can confirm light snow/icy stuff falling in Charlwood!

I also want to thank everyone for their updates. It's been a very interesting week. I am a lurker except during interesting weather. Just checked and I have been a member 13yrs which rather shocked me. I hope there is some more interesting weather before I move in April but if not I will pop back before I go and elope to the Midlands forum!
A few pics from today in Charlwood.
