  1. It's way to early, things will change again up until the end of this month when we will be 7-10 days away from what we want & it's same again roller coaster stuff.
  2. Unreal bad luck SE ! Tomorrow could well & truly sum it up ! Yes it's a moan, sorry moderator(s).
  3. Agreed, at least we might see some falling flakes!! It may well stick for a time before the strong sunshine melts it all. But as you say, maybe the far SE will do well from the system. Looking like another chance gone & it's roll on summer. It's been a dire winter away from Scotland & Ireland.
  4. I'm thinking we shouldn't be sucked in on these charts were seeing. The Met are saying we may see wet snow on Thursday, with high pressure moving in from the west calming things down & wintry showers of sleet, hail no doubt with temps recovering over the weekend.
  5. The things we may need to accept & learn maybe is things like 'The BBC have me at +11c' That was around a week ago that showing for the south on there type thing & then you see charts that suggest the opposite. The met office & the BBC have maintained the 'Risk' but have ultimately only dipped their toes and retreated pretty quickly on evidence in terms of this cold block getting itself established over the UK. Such a shame really I thoroughly enjoy all the hype & roller coaster effect hope it creates in here and in the media & the doubt it causes the big boys in our weather, but they really have much more advanced systems that detect a general picture way before the enthusiasts do from picking the bones off of charts. The evidence all boils down to this chase for instance. I've got to say, the deflation I feel when things don't come off is about as bad as Arsenal losing a cup final! It's just that awful pit of the stomach 'empty' feeling that you only get when you love somethig so much, and especially it being the holy grail of wishes to see a white Christmas that falls from our grasp so painfully. Here's to the next cold spell chase Seasons greetings to all Up the Arsenal !!
  6. The 6z gives us slim hope, but it's inevitable that the models are playing with our emotions albeit because of certain scenarios that could or could not happen. But generally, it's mild & wet in the south, with sleet & hill snow further north of Midlands, with snow in the highlands. Bog standard stuff really. Depressing for us folk down ere! We can't help but hope all that cold filters down across the country and doesn't get mixed out.
