  1. 25 is not the London average, Heathrow has an average of 23.89° as per the met office, central London is more 23° average, so having 27 or 28° is a good 4 or 5 degrees above average
  2. It don’t take much for us to get a heatwave, remember only 3 consecutive days over 28° for London will be classified as a heatwave, and the gfs still indicates temps to London above that threshold for possible a week around mid July, we don’t need 41° for a heatwave
  3. Still warmth around on models mid twenties perhaps high twenties and you can normally add a degree or so
  4. I thought the GFS run wasn’t actually too bad for temps, better than previous runs, around average for most, just no sign of any heatwaves yet
  5. I’m also off to the med on June 3rd lol a week of temps high 20s perfect
  6. Really hoping we get something in London tonight, especially as they completely failed the other day
  7. Already up to 20° here in Greater London, going to be a proper summers day, top temp around 26 or 27°
  8. Reached 23° today and this is probably the 6th day over 20° you should move to the south east! Then you can enjoy low 20s rather than whatever crap you have now
  9. Good sunny spells now and temp up to 22.3° feeling humid as well, so feeling warmer than that temp! Will probably reach around 23° this afternoon and I imagine a feel like value of 25°
  10. I’m still lacking rainfall here in Greater London, last nights storms was a bust here and therefore I am only on 11mm of rain for the month! I only got 3mm yesterday, was hoping for 10 to 15mm oh well, the sun is now coming out and temp up to 19°
  11. Nothing happening inland by the looks of things, just heavy showers
  12. Dew point up to 11 here now, Greater London, praying we get a storm!
  13. Although here in London we still have got the best of the weather this spring, been an above spring, above average sun through march and April and below average rainfall so on balance I am bloody pleased with spring, and I am a nice brown colour now as had plenty of sunbathing days too!
  14. Exactly the thing I love about the uk is the lush Green that we get unlike places like Spain which just so dry! I don’t want that here, lush and Green and the only way is through wet days, we do need periods of wet and unsettled weather, it’s a good thing! And it has been extremely dry here, we are quite a bit down on rainfall, even today has only given me 1mm, no where near enough! My only hope now is catching a thunderstorm
  15. A lot of moaning going on but may has been above average temp wise, for spring it’s been really good in my view, after may 2021 I just cannot complain as I know how bad it actually can be, and tbh those desperate for blue skies and 27° should move abroad, technically even in the height of summer the average temp is only 23° across the London south east area, so even if we stuck to averages we wouldn’t even see a 27 or 30 And it’s reached 19° here in London despite the cloud and rain, real muggy feel! Again could be the opposite, cold and wet and only 12° my garden is very happy to get the rain, think some people just like moaning
  16. Here in the south east we are far below our average rainfall, I am on 8mm this month and the average rainfall for may is 65mm so I would really appreciate a week or so of unsettled weather! It’s warm enough anyway, been in the 20°S here pretty much all month apart from 2 days
  17. Very much needed!!!! Hopefully some really decent rain
  18. Yes some really decent spring temps shown by models for next week! Well above average could be touching 27° at times
