  2. As soon as you notice the wind pick up and become strong, thats when this event has just started. The low tracked further north and advanced faster, this afternoon onwards and early hours Friday has everything to play for Ghost.
  3. Too many down hearted posts, in my mind the event hasn`t even arrived yet. Looking at the charts and percipitation forcast tomorrow morning (7am onwards) is the time thing may get interesting. Possible good few hours of slow moving snow flurries, then a further push in increased shower activity late afternoon. Take seeing falling snow today as a gift :)...It wasnt forcast Ghost.
  4. Meto Update: A small chance of very cold conditions from the east. Ghost.
  5. I`m sorry but one iffy run doest mean a down tick in the Potential thats STILL on offer.... Ghost.
  6. The Met Office are very much bird in the hand..They DO NOT ramp. If they are on board with this, then i for one shall take notice.. Ghost.
  7. The frozen fingers of winter reached as far as Greece last year..who knows when our waters will be next touched by a memorable event. Ghost.
  8. Yes ..classic "U" dip in the jet stream putting us on the mild side from our friends from the near continent southerly wind flow, strong enough to put some real energy into that mature low. Interesting times ahead. Ghost.
  9. BBC : "We`ve had to use every weather icon at are disposal for todays forcast" Kitchen sink? Ghost.
