Looks like the pivot has occurred sooner than expected so it's not going as far north - so the front is not coming as far north which is why we have seen such slow progress. Prepare disappointment!.
Yeah looking at netweather radar the front seems to have stalled over north cornwall devon and is struggling to get north for main band
-
Slightly concerned the front is decaying rapidly from West to East side. Need it to start to pivot asap

The precipitation just doesn't seem heavy enough to cause any problems, hopefully it will get heavier but I don't think it will

Whacking down now and sticking

It looks slightly further north to me for main intensity. Anyone else
-
Looking at the radar the angle of attack looks good as it's approaching us now. Soon see if it loses intensity when it hits land and cold air

It's quite possible that could happen.

Down to just under -1c now in Cardiff already. These cold nights the past few days will definitely have lowered the ground temps quite a bit and a good temp for tomorrow now.
even if it is rain initially, any snow should accumulate fairly quickly if/when it falls.
Onto the 18z models next...
Arrival of precip different on every model Jay. But somewhere between 2 and 4pm looks likely.
-2.9 here in llanharan make that -3.0 now. Was -4.5 at 7am this morning

BBC Wales has mixture of rain and snow right on south coast until gone 5pm

According to the GFS we are going to see snow for a good 9 hours

I'm in work now in Newport. Too dark to see out of office window lol

Ground will be too wet to settle. Snow is pointless if doesn't settle. To me anyway
-
Raining in llanharan. Cf72 at mo

Apart from altitude don't see any snow next Tuesday looking at wobbles.

Shows same as netweather. Watch the northern extent of the front decay and barely move
