    The short term forecast has backed away from the big snow forecast for Thursday / Friday this week. At best we might get a dusting in middle of night. But you never know for sure….

    That is Newcastle for next Thursday and Friday. As you say 30cm on Thursday and another 20cm on Friday forecast. I will believe it when I see it…..

    Yes - still all to play for here. The 06z ecm will be interesting in terms of what direction we are heading in.

    Still to early to call for next Thursday onwards. Models keeps changing every hour from no snow to lots of snow - North East and Northumberland area. Will have much more certainty 24-12hrs before. Current forecast is suggesting a dumping. I’d say that’s optimistic at this early stage. .
