Raining here as well. Bit of a disapointment after such a heavy snow shower. It's all melting away.

Just drove from Locksbottom to here. Blizzard conditions, very wet snow but hughe flakes. Settled again. Completely stopped now.

We received about an inch of snow here last night, which hasn't seen any melt at all today. I feel reasonably confident for snow tomorrow. It is still very cold here.

Thank you Tim. I must say that this has been a fantastic spell of snowy and cold weather here. I have been watching the models develop over the past 10 days with the usual up and down runs, and I am still amazed it came off. Based on the recent temperatures being colder than the models predictions, I am hopeful that any preciptation from now until Christmas will fall as snow. If not, then we can't complain about this early winter cold spell. I am sure we will enjoy further snow and cold during Jan and Feb. A White Christmas however, would be fantastic. To think that this time last month we just had endless rain, wind and above average temperatures.

Are we due more snow tomorrow or Tuesday? I am sure Teits and Steve Murr said it was a possibility!! ??

Here in chipstead Kent, we had at least another inch of snow overnight. Woke up at 2am and looked out the window and the snow was hammering down.

Do you know if there is any more snow forecast for South London/North West Kent this afternoon? I really need to drive to Hampshire, but apprehensive if there's more snow on the way.

Has been snowing in Sevenoaks, Kent since 9am. Very fine snow at the moment. We currently have 15 cms of lying snow. Fingers crossed, no sign of the snow turning to rain or sleet just yet.
