    Pretty annoyed tbh, meant to be sunny this afternoon, well the cloud is still there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I check the Bbc app and apparently it’s blue skies

    Personally looking at the models they don’t look as bad as they did! I mean there was that GFS run which only had 7 degrees in London lol so pleased to see better temps even if it’s not the heatwave many want, I will settle for average temps for now

    Have to admit I ain’t gunna complain about this spring, it’s been wet wet wet; but it’s not been as cold as 2021, I don’t mind the showers, in fact here on the Essex Rivera had very few showers and nice amounts of sunshine and temps have reach 19 past few days! So ain’t gunna grumble at 19 degrees back in 2021 it stuck around 12

    After this northerly airflow the 18 to 20 this weekend will feel warm! Much appreciated as I am sailing out of Southampton on Saturday and currently looks like 18 degrees sunny spells and light winds, this makes me very happy

    I don’t think we will see any real warmth until June, i think it will be a cooler summer, very 2021 again! Have a feeling hottest temp of the year will be about 30 degrees; a much more average summer overall, so temps mostly between 20 and 23 in the south

    Well the gfs continues to turn things pretty cold again next week! But does at least look warmer over the weekend in the South! First 20 of the year possible in southern parts! Short lived if the gfs has its way, as turning pretty chilly again! But probably an outlier

    This is true actually, not had any frosty nights this April! Not been as cold overnight, think during 2021 we had many nights of sub zero temps whereas this year, comfortably above freezing! So probably the difference! And despite being a poor month, every April day has reached double digits here, so there havnt really been any extremes, we have had temps between 10 degrees to 16 degrees each day

    Have to say everything is greening up nicely here in south Essex got more leaf than this point in 2021

    Like others have said it’s been a crappy spring but tbh we have also been spoiled with previous springs, in our little island no weather is ever guaranteed! Remember the average for April is 13/14 in the south so it’s not a particularly warm month! I’m only running 1 degree below normal, in 2021 was running about 4 degrees below normal

    I would expect temps of 10 to 12 in the south and 6 to 9 in the north during daytime over next 10 days or so, unless something really changes that is

    What I will say is the OP is clearly at the bottom of the ensemble pack looking at the gfs ensembles, the mean is closer to the average line, so I feel the op run is very much the worst case senario again and probably won’t be as chilly as that the mean is running closer to the average

    Looking at ensembles the op was at the bottom of the pack, so although it’s clearly a cool unsettled outlook, it might not be the horror show the op was showing

    I have a mobile home and I can confirm when the suns out it really warms up inside, just need the sun, had to put heating on for an hour this evening to stop the chill

    Just want to be able to lay on the beach and soak up the sun This is what I’m hoping for, they can switch quick, so I’m holding out hope things improve

    Yup no good weather for us at all tbh, even when we do get some sunshine over next few days will be accompanied by strong easterly winds, so won’t feel any better than if it was cloudy! And even longer term it looks miserable, so that rules out the rest of April

    I preferred April 2021 if I’m being honest this month is running warmer than that month, but April 2021 deffo felt warmer because of the amount of sunshine and high pressure we had
