  1. Wimbledon88 Do these people think we are on a continent of our own??? Jeez.
  2. richie3846 I agree that London and the SE in general are having a rather cr*ppy spring, but May has not been too bad. Today was grey and drizzly but at least it was mild and no wind.
  3. Scorcher The most curious feature is that it's 18c in the SW where apparently rain is gonna be at its heaviest...
  4. In Absence of True Seasons Of late, that seems no longer to be the case though...
  5. In Absence of True Seasons Generally (our weather being better in July)? Hmm, is it really? In Absence of True Seasons Our part of England... Much of it seems to be just fine
  6. A settled spell of dry weather is still a mirage...
  7. In Absence of True Seasons And even those days it's not gonna be non-stop rain. I miss the sun alrady though
  8. Bit of a crappy start, but hopeful for later...
  9. *Stormforce~beka* It's what I imagined The Secret Garden to look like lmao danm Makes the heart sing doesn't it. Just lovely.
  10. Very warm here atm. Shorts and sandals weather, yum yum.
  11. They are singing my favourite song.... I was wrong and I am very happy to have been wrong
  12. Disgustingly wet and grey here in London. As for this week, I'll believe it when I see it. We in the SE seem to be always getting the worst of the clag, so I expect we'll get some more in the next few days. Last spring/early summer was the same: forecast (especially Meto) said sunny and warm, but the clag would not dissipate before sunset.
  13. stainesblokeI hate autumn too. Yuk. But speaking of today, oh look, it's raining again. Long time no see lmao
  14. sunny_vale Can't they manage the 'accurate scenario' any more? I mean, according to them now it's cloudy while it's gloriously sunny... Alderc 2.0 This was us here in London on Friday...
  15. SunSean Don't go looking for bad weather now
  16. stainesbloke Lucky you. Here we got a sort of early spring morning then a chilly afternoon followed by the usual clear and sunny evening. Obviously it was great compared to the grot we are used to. Tomorrow we should be back to normal (aka rain).
  17. LetItSnow! How very British of us. Having said that, some people end up in the ignore bin
  18. WadeWe'll have to agree to disagree. With all due respect, 10 times out 10, when we are told dry spell, we get rain. I don't believe in fairy tales, but you're welcome to.
  19. LetItSnow! We ain't looking for things to go wrong, mate. Things GO wrong and have been going wrong for the past year. Every time a high is announced something happens (usually an Atlantic low) and bang goes the dry spell. Anyways, moaning is the national past-time so don't knock it
  20. cheese I am at my happiest when the sun shines. Weird uh?
