Anyone heading to Portugal/Spain for easter?

Really hoping that cold arctic air spreads south. Dazzling blue skies, some heat in the sun and a chill in the air in the shade. Just bliss.

I’m enjoying this weather because I know summer is just around the corner and I can’t stand the heat and heat is at a low bar for me compared to most.

cheese I believe the increase in sunshine in winter/spring is due to less pollution/smog compared to previous decades.

Battleground Snow Unless it’s exceptional cold it’ll easily melt away without altitude in March no matter what direction the wind blows. 17c in Germany at the moment. It’s all a bit of a joke. February is hardly a winter a month anymore if the previous 5 Februarys are anything to go off.

This past week I read numerous comments that a ssw occurring now would scupper cold chances like it (apparently ) did in January . Now that the SSW looks a bust, what will the excuses be this time for no cold?

The thing is even if you want your snow fix now there’s no point booking a ski holiday in advance as you never not what rotten pattern you’ll be stuck in. For my snow fix I’d like it to be actually snowing and not a mild slush fest underfoot. Best to just book it the week it looks good but not many have that luxury including myself.
