  1. Woke up to heavy snow and a few cms on the ground, now it's already turning back to rain
  2. Awful July we have had here in Northern Ireland so far, barely scraped 16°C yesterday and that was in the evening once the rain passed! I think we have only had 1 day here in Belfast where its got above 20°C this month, absolute shambles of a summer month!
  3. BBC, MO and Netweather all suggesting a ridge of high pressure moving into the North by the middle of July in their long range outlooks. Return of Easterly or Southeaterly winds perhaps, looks good for us in the NW at least. Still all to play for this summer.
  4. Heatwave in Northern Ireland's Northwest this week has been unusual, 28C was topped, very unusual this early in the season. If we reach 30C this summer, it will be the 3rd consecutive summer 30C has been reached. That has never happened before. I think we will top it in July.
  5. 21C and overcast in Belfast at the moment, feeling like it's going to be a very humid day. Hopefully the clouds break up soon.
  6. 23°C in Belfast today, been a very sunny week with temps in the 20s, unusual for this part of the world but its been so lovely.
