There's not really that much snow here at low levels either, only around a cm or two and it's just sleety rain now.
I've just been up to the top of the hills around us and there is easily a foot of snow up there already with blizzard like conditions, It will be really interesting to see how much snow there is over the tops by tomorrow afternoon!
I really do feel sorry for whoever lives above 300m, there are no roads anymore, conditions are deadly.
so deffo worth a visit over the horseshoe pass then...or on the racecorse on top of oswestry
-
snowing nicely here now with a covering on the roads and everything
-
I had a few £££'s on at 11/2 ....with skybet....there shut today so can't get hold hold of them to get there official line on it ...best pay up though
just double checked mine ......'Settled in accordance with www.metoffice.gov.uk official ruling on whether there is snow in London on Dec 25th.'

I'll try, OMG I'll try but Shrewsbury has such a terrible history of missing snow. Now I'm really struggling to understand how it can be snowing and settling in Derby but not in Stoke or Cannock (which are both higher than Derby)?????????????????????????????? Oh great can just hear what sounds like rain hitting the windows.
I've been in Derby today watching the Rams ...it was bitter there today with temps never above freezing .....then on the way home from 5pm onwards all the way home to north shropshire the temp was going up all the way peeking at 2c very weird and balmy
