  1. Latest from Weatheronline.

    Before midnight:

Snow onto the borders of Northern Ireland, central Ireland, southern Wales, Wiltshire and Somerset as well as the high ground of Devon and Cornwall.

    By 6am:

Moderate to heavy snow now affecting much of Ireland, Wales, the Midlands, parts of southern and southeast England. Rain should have turned to snow over southern Ireland and most of southwest England.

    By midday:

More snow, and heavy at times, through Northern Ireland, much of the Midlands, Wales and into Norfolk. Now into much of northern England too. We could be looking at totals of 10cm through Wales, Northern Ireland and the Midlands, as much as 15cm is possible. Snow turning to rain in southern Wales, much of southern England and parts of southern Ireland.

    By 6pm:

Snow has cleared from Wales, the Midlands and southern England, with showers in the southwest. The snow now through Northern Ireland, parts of northern England and southern Scotland, but it is fading away.

    Thursday night/Friday morning:

Ice is the main problem to the south as the skies clear and snow freezes.

As for accumulations, here's what I reckon:

    Southern Scotland: 1 to 2cm

    Northern England: 2 to 4cm

    Northern Ireland: 2 to 8cm

Wales, Midlands, East Anglia: 6 to 10cm, local 15cm

Central Southern England, Southeast England (not coasts):2 to 5cm, local 8cm
