After some pretty spectacular lightning displays to the northwest last night, its a mostly sunny morning but showers are brewing...

Thunderstorms have now moved away into the irish sea affecting ireland but still also affecting western wales, some lightning strikes on the radar there. Its now cloudy and the winds are alot lighter after those storms passed.

Some thunderstorms around towards NW have died away from swansea. There was very heavy rainfall, extremely torrential for 7 minutes along with loud thunder and gusty winds. -
Heavy Thunderstorm & Rain. Rain very heavy at times. Lightning towards nw, thunder at times. Gusty winds around 25-30mph. Quite nasty. Temperature 15C Humidity 89%
