just heard a huge gust of wind, looked out the window and a DARK cloud is coming... wow another strong gust!! cant see anything much on the radar tho

Quite at the mo, with the odd gust now n then... waiting for the heavy rain to sweap acroos and wake me up in the hearly hours Surprised the met office has not issued a weather warning for that heavy rain, looks to be quite heavy in places with spots of white showing up on the radar.

I didnt see any hail here, and iam down the road from erith that storm passed over quite quickly.. full_frontal_occlusion, did you get any pictures from the view from canary??? would of loved to see that.

wow bad thunderstorm here in kent, loud cracks of thunder!!! heavy rain sky is a strange colour!!!

Wild day here in kent, medway bridge on the M2 felt like a hurricane in my bus!!!!! Very dangerous, Iam watching that large pink blob on the radar now!!!

Has been a really windy day today, one gust blew our wheely bin across the garden with a brick in it, thing is the wheely bin didnt fall over lol

Really wild here in Kent, winds gusting to 41mph in Gravesend and 57mph in Landon bay!! The edge of the rain band has just reached us!! EDIT.. oh my god think my window is gonna break from the wind n rain battering it like mad!!!!! even my curtains are moving

Cold, cold and bloody cold Wind been picking up threw out the day to, had a gust of 36mph, and that feels very raw out there!!

flipping cold today, :lol: temp now 5.5c Sheppy bridge has been closed all day because of high winds????!!! didn't think it was that windy, max gust all day has been 30mph..

Heavy rain this morning with a slight breeze.. After the rain had past by the afternoon, We went to dartford high street, walking around the market there was a freak gust of wind, it came from no where and nearly blew me off my feet, people started screaming and cardboard boxes flew in the air along with everything else then it went quite, very strange as we have had hardly any wind all today, can anyone can tell me what that freak gust was? it must of been at least 50mph, very very strong!!

had a long big gust of wind about 10mins ago, came from no where, but its gone quite again now weird. EDIT: a few quite gusts have just started.

Well after the "quite hour" I can hear the wind picking up again, must of been in the eye off the storm lol Yeah I saw earlier that Langdon Bay got a gust of 62mph, impressive.

The wind has definitely dropped, been quite for the past hour and the sun is out!! is it still windy down ner the coast?? bit wierd me thinks

since about 10am it has been very windy and gusty heavy rain but I think the wind has dropped, its very quite for the past 15mins now. Langdon bay saw a gust of 62mph

rain just reached south east, been a mild day cloudy with the odd spot of rain all day.

At half 4 today in Kent got hit by THAT rain, was driving my bus and saw the sky go very dark then suddenly out of the side roads came millions of leaves that blew across the road at high speed, then the wind hit with tremendous forse along with the rain, I couldn't see anything and my bus was being blown all over the place, I actually though I was in a hurricane or tornado, scary!!!
