    Was a bit disappointed not to be woken in the night by heavy rain and thunder. Still it's early in the season

    Nothing here in Swansea, but looking at radar looks like it's been constant back home

    Just driven down from Dowlais back into Merthyr. Heavy (almost blizzard) conditions at Dowlais top. Turned to sleet as I got into Penydarren. Current temp 2.3C

    Looks like some pretty sharp showers in Pembrokeshire and some developing to the south of Wales heading this way. Could turn out to be a wintry evening. Still looking intersting for Thursday as well, even if it is a transient event

    Can't believe GFS keeps throwing the risk of snow back at us over the weekend. Really want winter to back off now

    Still think the persistent snow will stay south of the Severn on Monday. I fear we may even be stuck under the frontal blanket of cloud with nothing falling and no sunshine to cause convection

    Surely with the deep cold uppers and the warmer land due to the stronger sun, this is going to lead to some widespread convection and thus increase the risk of some quite hefty snow showers? Certainly more of a possibility than in January and February?

    Won't that depth of cold bring about more likely convection with the warmer sun at this time of year? i.e. Heavy snow showers?

    Possibly the worse type of weather going. Dull, cold with a biting easterly and it's gonna get colder! Roll on spring, please, quickly

    Lovely day here in Swansea today. Pity I can only watch it through a window though

    No. Snow can fall in March and April. Probably no more disruptive snow but I think there will be snowfall of sorts over the next few weeks

    I did notice that with GFS tonight that it seems happier keeping the high stuck near Scandinavia, but I'm still unconvinced that anything particularly snowy will be in that flow. As you say, time will tell, but the promise is definitely there for a more prolonged cold spell

    Certainly looking more and more like an uneventful few days ahead. Dry, cold, sunny days, frosty nights but very little (if any) snow for anywhere in Wales

    Was excellent watching the large snowflakes fall as I drove to work this morning. Now drizzle in Swansea though

    Temperature has been stuck at 3.5C for the last 3 hours with drizzle. Think the chance of snow has now gone with the precipitation fragmenting

    Temperature is dropping fast here now. At 3C, so I am expecting the rain to turn to snow over the next couple of hours

    Still rain here, but temperature has dropped 2 degrees in the last hour and a half. Expecting snow by 9pm

    Cloud just cleared from my workplace here in Swansea and it's blooming cold!
