Sit-Rep East Hull. Snowing all night but it's super fine and way to windy for it to stick massive disappointment really. I know this sounds odd but I think it needs to warm up a bit to make flakes and not pellets.

Wind has gotten right up again and we are back on the graupel again in Hull

Whoever has picked the short straw for it must be dreading it.

I remember when that started like it was yesterday. I've still never seen a sky that colour ever it was liquid silver moving and the first snow that dropped in Beverley started at 3.30 just when school had finished - it never settled it was like ultra fine dry graupel and just formed in piles as it blew in waves across the floor. The following day it was knee deep on me as a 10 year old. The following day the school water tank exploded like a cartoon barrel amazing stuff. I'd love to see that one more time. Could talk about that winter forever

Was 10 years old and in my element. It was the most nuts thing ever. I've never seen ice bust things like it did and the snow was epic ?️?️?️?️
