  1. Some awesome stuff coming out of the SW - good video in their thread ..max Jealousy
  2. Just had that here in Hull mate. Don't think its heavy enough to be picked up
  3. Yeah definitely looking a lot better than it did into the early hours then through tomorrow - good video on Metoffice showing constant showers.
  4. I'm hoping as it pulls through it drags in some beefy North Sea showers later on.
  5. Dunno if this vid shows it as its heavily compressed Grainy .mp4
  6. -4.1 - thick fog in Hull and people not knowing how to function motor vehicles in these conditions. Plus cyclists...don't even get me started.
  7. If the 12z has anything to do with it, could be possible. I still think we might get something off the North Sea as it drags though. I believe the Meto are going with that also. The trough on Saturday maybe worth a watch as well.
  8. Don't forget low DP's are paramount for snow especially if air temps around 3 deg c
  9. All is not lost GFS 12z pulls further North but as @Jeremy Shockey eludes to could be some nice surprises as the North Sea snow machine pulls some hefty showers through.
  10. Ok I'll put these out there as possible/maybe candidates - just a matter of bring me the horizon. 'SSW Downwelling' seems to be the new phrase. Write Thursday off and keep the faith.
  11. Always was going to be a west event IMHO. We need proper stuff from proper directions to be fair
  12. Been a child of the 70's and always lived in either Beverley or Hull it's has become very co-apparent things are very very different nowadays. I hate to say it kids nowadays are gonna have to start travelling to see decent snow even in pole position spots in easterlies or northerlies it just doesn't seem to deliver anymore.
  13. Yeah I agree - its not a great setup anyway regardless of ramping in the MO
