If the 12z has anything to do with it, could be possible. I still think we might get something off the North Sea as it drags though. I believe the Meto are going with that also. The trough on Saturday maybe worth a watch as well.
All is not lost GFS 12z pulls further North but as @Jeremy Shockey eludes to could be some nice surprises as the North Sea snow machine pulls some hefty showers through.

Been a child of the 70's and always lived in either Beverley or Hull it's has become very co-apparent things are very very different nowadays. I hate to say it kids nowadays are gonna have to start travelling to see decent snow even in pole position spots in easterlies or northerlies it just doesn't seem to deliver anymore.
