Seems to be dying in it's backside on the radar, despite all the warnings of severe weather in the local news.
Most people round here ignore the warnings anyways as they keep being issued and nothing happens

I’d laugh if those storms reached my area without turning into a weak wet fart but we’ll see
Bagsy the wet fart before you

The yellow warning for thunderstorms has expired and we have had a few bits of drizzle and light rain while it was in effect for 48 hours.... Just about enough to wet the ground but not to soak in. There hasn't been a rumble within at least 25 miles of here that I'm aware of.
Appears to be the same heree, nothing of note, and certainly not in line with the weather warnings.

Horrible murky and muggy day, all the forecast storms have delivered are a few raindrops.
No thunder, no lightning, no heavy rain, and the ground is still parched.
-
a few light spots of rain but thats about it for now.
What chances are there of any storms later this week?

Its odd watching the radar, as each clump of rain either breaks up, or , as is at present slide slightly underneath , despite looking like a certain hit nothing seems to make it .
Going to give it another 30 minutes then its time to water the plants ( no hosepipe ban here)

Nothing here, unless it kicks off this evening, looking at the radar it looks like another bust

There was talk about risks to infrastructure, powercuts, roads closed, phone networks collapsing etc fortunately none of that has / appears to have happened so far. Was this a false claim?

Quick question, so far not had much here other than a few blustery showers( between Derby, Burton and Ashby de la zouch)
Is the worst over for this area, or is it still on the way?

All calm here, slightly overcast with nothing but a slight breeze.
The biggest risk looking out is that it might rain.
Everyone is still on the storm, what storm? carry on as normal, all overhyped again mentality
-
BBC forecast, no sign of any red warning.
Outside it is still calm

Seems like a long long time since any storms made it here, yesterday looked promising, but again failed to deliver.
What's the outlook for the rest of the week?
