Next? I'm still waiting for the first one! Although I know some folk did find the -0.1c last night shockingly cold for February
It's why the 'snow' has been so disappointing down here: always too warm and falling on ground that still holds last summer's warmth (and, indeed, last summer's rain!). "Snow before a frost t'will soon be lost; snow on hardened land's want you need to make it stand".
Still waiting for some snow to settle here as well, just a few patches on the grass. apparently its due to the power station at Ratcliffe.

East midlands airport weather "taff" doesnt look very hopeful of you want to see snow sticking, it looks like rain to snow then back to rain again by the morning.

Dull and damp here, temp rising 4C news 24 weather forcast just started, shopwed turning to snow for a short time overnight - just in time for the monday journey to work, but if ( if ) it does snow doesnt look like it wil stick around long enought o enjoy it.

The 2010 snow event, although ti did deliver some snow in my area ( about 1/2 an inch, or 10cms ) it was no where near as much as other places had, likewise with whats just gone, it always seemed to eb a fraction to the North/sorth/East or West.
could this be because of the River Trent/ Ratcliffe powerstaion?

yep were measuring snow in good old fashioned inches now, maybe 4 or 5 at present, forget your euro cms.
inches? we had some snow last week ( friday) but since then there has been nothing to top it up for the last 7 days, and a steady thaw.
forget inches, round my neck of the woods the snow depth has been measured in milimetres.

Still nothing that dramatic happening, a few light flurries, the paths that I cleared on Friday evening are still snow free.
the airports reporting temperatures of 0 and dewpionts of zero with slight snow.

Watching it move north is like pulling teeth.

it seems stuck, over all so far this cold spell/snowy spell appears to have been someewhat overhyped.

slight thaw here, nothing new added since friday, everything is just a stones throw away to the south, looking at the radar im guessing nottinghams in the same boat.

The airport is currently reporting "slight rain and snow" temperature plus 1, dewpoint minus two.

It appears to be raining here, with a slight thaw/melt on un treated roads and pathways.

Just had a look at the rain today radar, and is it me or oes it look like a few breaks are forming, with the gaps aimed at Leicester, Loughbourough, Nottingham and Derby
