  1. Quite, but most of this was over the coast of France, now were at a transition with water again and more may happen.
  2. Its WAY to early to call that. I've no idea how you have come to that conclusion the rainfall radar shows its hardly hit the channel yet.
  3. Now will it explode or as normal die as soon as it hits the Channel? We're about to find out...
  4. Goto bed set your alarm for 2am. I think you may be in for a surprise if you look to the east. We will just have to see how close
  5. Really why? It's nature. It happens. The weather is alive and thus you can predict on probability, never certainty.
  6. I note that the storms coming up from France are now heading slightly more north than they were initially. I.e. its curving round to the west by a degree or so. Enough that I reckon SE UK MIGHT see something this evening. My time scale is later than 1-2am I reckon more like 2-3

  11. Can I ask why the Alerts page is a bit messed up? I click on the south alert and it justs tell me the following Nothing to do with the south at all!!
  12. Hi Guys/Gals, Umm Warlingham Surrey is where I'm at and I just heard the most loud clap of thunder possibly of this year. I need new underwear... Gap from flash to bang was approx 1 sec so it was close... Woah... What is going on with all this mad weather!!
  13. In the UK its never clear cut, the best storms i have seen were totally unexpected.
  14. Well over cast eariler, now totally clear around the south of the M25 with the exception of a few scattered clouds and some haze.

  17. lol, you need to get out and drive to find storms!! I did that with some of the NW team a couple of years ago in the UK.
  18. Go out side and cut the lawn or something, thats usually guaranteed rain for me....
  19. I doubt anyone can really make it through the year and see no lightning at all... So really by the end of the year there will be not one member in your club lol
  20. BBC is a law to itself in all respects! Nothing here yet but hopeful...
  21. I used to goto the coast every time a good storm was on its way. Pretty much every time for me they died. I gave up in the end!!
