A slight improvement on yesterday here in Hastings,more cloud breaks as the wind has swung into an easterly direction, therefore starting to cut off the run of north sea cloud and mist we had from yesterdays northeasterly,temperature currently 17 degrees,pressure 1019mb.

overcast and misty here in Hastings at midday,still on the warm side at 17degrees in a light northeasterly.

Dissapointing in Hastings today,we have picked up more of a northeasterly today therfore we are being plagued by north sea cloud,yesterday the wind was from a more northerly quarter and we managed the highest temperature in Britain at 19 degrees with some long sunny spells.

Observations for Hastings, east sussex in september,above average sunshine,below average rainfall...again! and above average temperatures.
One day with thunder recorded,highest maximum temperature on the 4th at 27 degrees and the highest 24hr rainfall on the 28th with 20.3mm.

The cloud has cleared here in Hastings and we have blue skies and a light wind,fells like a late summers day at 19 degrees.
