The radar doesn't appear to have changed much regarding rainfall intensity round S41 but the thunder has become more of a rumble every five minutes or so...if that. So at least it saves watering the garden later on

Another heavy burst for the last 15 minutes or so. The radar looks healthy for this morning. Accumulating nicely so keep it coming -
Fairly heavy snow shower just passed through after about another 1 inch covering in the night. Looks like another day afternoon in with some cans

This thundery shower seems to be missing us by a couple of miles ( betweeun us and M1) but there are CG's coming from it at around 1 or 2 per minute. Better than nowt. It makes good viewing

Just got in from the school run. Got absolutley soaked from a very heavy thunder shower. About 7 strikes to go with it. Boy did the sky look black as it approached

Small but heavy shower just passed over us. One flash with immediate thunder/bang. Wasn't a load shotgun type bang though. I would say popgun at most -
Fairly heavy rain now. Also just heard a feeble rumble of thunder. Cat normally goes crazy when it thunders but that one didn't seem to bother her

Made the most of the last day of the heatwave by celebrating in the pub Shocking excuse for a beer or 8+. Today has been the best day by far up here sun hours wise. Yesterday wasn't bad following a couple of days with around 80% cloud cover (mon & tues) after a cracking sunday afternoon. Superb outside at the moment with clear skies and very warm. Who'd have thought there was a breakdown coming in

Torrential shower at the moment with huuugggee drops of rain. Typical, seeing i've just had the hosepipe out and watered the lawn feed in I put on the other day Nothing electrical about it though

Well bloomin ell. It just chucking it down now. There was thunder coming from it as it was approaching. Now it is over us it's just heavy rain <_<

Black as night looking towards the direction of the M1 motorway and beyond (5 mile east of here) with thunder coming from it. Can't believe the storms are missing us.

Marvellous A weak rain shower just passed by us about 10 minutes ago and as soon as it passed it rapidly grew into a nice little storm with some loud cracks of thunder from it. It seems to be heading in the direction of Cresswell and Worksop.
