To be totally honest looking at the output i think theres more chance of getting twelve inch in June to be honest.

My take on the coming winter is December will be generally mild windy and wet. Jan will start the same but turning colder mid month with the chance of snow before becoming mild.Feb pretty mixed but around average.But March for me will be the coldest month with quite a bit of snow.Just to note i was talking to paul Hudson at a book signing and he hinted that there may be some severe cold post xmas and into Jan.Look to the east were is own words so who knows.

Cant find the meto forecast for the nao.

Having read this thread and getting quite confused i could do with a bit of help. Not really sure what the nao is caused by and what the effect it has on the weather in generall.I know it promotes a less mobile atlantic and moves towards colder weather but how and why.Sorry if posted in wrong section.

So given the the southerly jet at the moment would anyone consider a big turnaround during this winter even given the forecast nao.Meaning the jet moving north come dec.

Snowing heavily now in sheff and wind picked up.Strange tho loads of snow but trees dripping with water.Dew points on the up me thinks.

You may be out of look dude loking at the calender forecast.The guy on calender did say you may get sleet when the rain becomes heavier.Good thing is theyl be know water shortage come summer.
