    Still very gently snowing although it doesn't really seem to be adding any depth and it's not settling anywhere where the snow melted earlier

    Was worried we've had sunshine for the last hour or so and the cover was starting to melt but I've got a moderate snow shower now thats better! Lets make that heavy with big fluffy flakes

    Thanks Over the hill - here's hoping! My husband works at King James' in Knaresborough and has had to go in hehe OK here's a few pics from the last half hour showing how strange its been, the sunny one is how it is now although it is starting to cloud over again...

    2 mins later the sun's out and its still snowing - this is just a little confusing!

    Pelting it down, roads have covered in 5mins, seems to be slowing a little - we've got about 5cm but it'll be more now. Got some pics but can't find the camera lead will upload as soon as I get them

    Me too, we've got blue skies at the minute I can see cloud to the North of me but none over head.

    Tadcaster Grammar School has been closed yippee! Obviously as a teacher I'm gutted but at least they told me before I left the house

    After my post earlier its been a bit of a mixed back with clear skies at one point but I'm happy to report that the heavy stuff is back and is hopefully here to stay settling too Current Temp 1 Windchill -7 Dewpoint -3.8

    Complete white out wow! tiny snow but there is LOADS of it The fog is the snow! The pic doesn't really do it justice it was completely chucking it down left a layer and its slowed down now but bigger flakes

    Morning, Thought I'd join in as it does seem a little quiet on here so far. I feel like a kid at Christmas and I'm really hoping we get a proper covering overnight. I'm a teacher and I've still yet to have a snow day - really hoping I'll get one tomorrow. It took me 3 hours to get to work last time (I work in Tadcaster and it's normally a 30 min drive). Most of the kids didn't arrive either but school still wasn't closed.
