    In the middle of a little storm! Lightning every few minutes and torrential rain for the last 15-20mins Seems to be easing off a little now

    There was a dusting as I left York this morning at 7.30am and it was still snowing, seemed to be laying fairly well too - In Tadcaster where I work there were no traces and has been nothing all day

    Small storm here - lightning sporadic but its been going for a good 20 mins now

    Woken by a cracker of a storm this morning at 2am. Lightning fairly close and consistent for about 20 mins.

    Torrential rain - like sheets and high winds accompanied the thunderstorm in Tadcaster plenty of CG lightning and looks to be another storm on the way now - may be TWS's I guess

    Tut tut see Maths was important As for the formula it is r = cube root of (0.75/pi * V) (the cube root button on the calculator looks like the square root but with a little 3 to the left)

    Good Thunderstorm here in Tadcaster where I work. My year 7 class were very excited They enjoyed the lightning detector too!

    Been snowing lightly all day with the odd heavier flurries. Is settling on the grass and the like but not on the paths or roads really. Just hoping it keeps going

    Light snow for a while now with the odd heavier flurry. Not really settling but won't be long before it does temp is currently 1c, wind chill -4c, brrr Glad I'm in the warm now!

    I think its just made out of flour and water. Not surein what parts but that's what I remember from doing it at home - that and it has a really funny smell

    Storm very early this morning, sky was flashing all over excellent to watch

    Just had a storm lasting about half an hour or so, got very close at one point, lots of ICs and a few CG. Ate my tea in the conservatory so I didn't miss a thing!
